Personal Project - Opening Film Titles (WIP)

Opening Title sequences set the mood of an entire movie. With my personal project, I'll replicate styles used by graphic artists in films (mainly focused on war films.) And also study some of the artists creating these pieces that can draw people in or out of a feature film. Self Evaluation

What have you learned? I've learned a lot about new programs and how to use them. I've been really fixated on Photoshop and doing a bit of InDesign is really nice to learn, so I have more options for programs in the future. I also learned more in depth about the principles of design and how to incorporate them into design pieces to make them stronger. What have you struggled with? Learning the new programs and striving away from Photoshop because I'm so familiar with it. What are you proud of? What are your strengths? I'm proud of my design capabilities. I think I know what really works together and how to have meaning to my pieces. I'm mostly proud of my principle of design posters, and how they all come across different but has an element that ties them all in together. My strong suit is being able to communicate with the reader and show a pretty good design. What goals do you have/ what do you want to learn in Term 2? Get comfortable w...
